It is possible that under any circumstances, the execution of a concrete section may be abandoned in the middle of the work and the concreting will continue to complete the construction at another time after the final setting of the concrete. This will cause a reduction in concrete from resistance & permeability viewpoints because of no more suitable connection between new & old concrete. For this purpose, strength concrete adhesive is a suitable option which may not only connect the old concrete to new one but also is applicable in repairing jobs for better adhesion of repairing mortars to the old surfaces. In addition and upon composition with new concrete, it may cause more adhesion of particles and optimized the properties. Strength Concrete Adhesive is a polymer made from homo-polymer superficial resins which may have suitable reactions with water and concrete cement. Also it may increase the tension and bending resistance and durability of concrete. Of course the most important property of this product is increasing the adhesiveness and compression of concrete particles and further reduction of permeability as well.

Consumption method:
Consumption method of strength concrete adhesive for gluing of old concrete to new one
The surface of old concrete should be free from any pollution, paints, oils, grease and loose parts.
Apply a thick layer of the adhesive on old surface of concrete.
Add it to new concrete for 4-6 percent of used cement.
Consumption method of strength concrete adhesive for intenal water stopping:
For this purpose, add the concrete adhesive to mixing water and/or concrete. Be careful to mix at least for 1 minute for one cubic meter of concrete. It is better to combine concrete adhesive with water with the rate of 3 to 1 and then add to the mixture.
Consumption method of strength concrete adhesive for repairing jobs:
At first, apply a layer of concrete adhesive on the considered section for repair.
Add and apply the repairing mortar with weight percent of 3 to 5.
The surface of old concrete should be free from any pollution, paints, oils, grease and loose parts.

Add it to new concrete for 4-6 percent of used cement.

Surface roughness, temperature, type of cement, quantity of cement, type of consuming materials.
But usual consumption rate for adding to concrete for intenal water stopping purpose is about 5 to 9 percent of consumed cement. In order to add to repairing mortar the weight is 3 to 5 percent and for adding to concrete it is 4 to 6 percent of consumed cement for increasing the adhesiveness to old concrete and reduction of permeability.
