Concrete modifier RC430
Damage & worming of concrete surface are always available in concrete making and providing cement surfaces. There are various factors including removing a part of concrete sticking to the frame at the time of releasing the frames, damaging a part of concrete because of armature corrosion, low quality of concrete and/or concreting process and also damaging or worming the surface, shocking the surface and unsuitable processing of concrete. For this purpose, we need a mortar for superficial repairs not only with the same properties of concrete but also has required adhesion and suitable granules. Modifier mortar has a cement base with specific formulation and special structure for modifying most of concrete surfaces and inside/outside surfaces of building. Concrete modifier based upon cement and find sands, polypropylene threads and co-polymer resins which is ready to use easily after mixing with water. Because of its specific formulation, this product has high level of adhesiveness for various concrete and cement surfaces with long-term durability. Concrete modifier has no more contraction and may not find any tracks out of contraction or shrinkage.

Consumption method:
The considered surface should be free from any loose parts, grease and pollution.
For applying of modifier, the underlayment must be scratched
If the rebar inside the concrete is obvious, it is necessary to empty back of rebar in order to provide a free space at least 1cm for rust removal and filling with modifier mortar.
In case of any corrosive rebar, it should be brushed or sand blast.
The considered surface for applying of modifier should be saturated with clean water.
We need 3.5-4 liter water for one bag of 20kg concrete modifier powder. Be careful to add powder to water. For this purpose, select a suitable vessel and pour water inside and add the powder little by little while electric mixer is on (Drill + blade) in order to have a homogenous mortar.
It is suggested to apply an acrylic primer layer on considered surface for increasing the adhesion coefficient.
Apply the modifier mortar by a trowel or spatula.
Important point: You should always a part of powder with mortar in order to be used at most within 30 minutes.
Modifier mortar should be compressed behind the rebar.
Do not apply dried mortar.
The maximum permitted thickness of modifier mortar in horizontal surface is 50mm and in vertical ones at least 10mm.
The maximum thickness of modifier mortar on overhead surfaces is 40mm.
It is suggested to add 2kg concrete adhesion per 20kg bag of modifier powder for increasing the adhesion and upgrading the properties.
In case of modifying in two or more layers, the interval between two layers should be after primary gripping and about three hours after applying previous layer. Also it is suggested to rough the bottom layer slightly by a spatula.
You should prevent the applied mortar from direct sunlight, freezing, wind and any other environmental invasive factors within primary hours of application and then curing the layer up to 48 hours. Then in case of any unusual environmental conditions, it should be maintained by soaked sack and plastic as much as possible.

Consumption rate:
The consumption rate of concrete modifier is various according to the work place and damages of surfaces. But it is usual to have 1.5 kg of modifier for covering 1sqm of a layer with a thickness of 1mm.
