Physical and Chemical Specifications of Tile Cross

Physical Specifications:

Material: Typically made from polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) with a pressure‑resistant grade.
Shape: Cross‑shaped (four equal arms) or sometimes T‑shaped, for setting uniform spacing between four tiles or in corners.
Dimensions: Available in various thicknesses from 1 to 5 mm for regulating tile joints. Some models feature longer or shorter arms.
Mechanical Resistance: Designed to withstand the pressure of tiles and mortar without deforming, holding firmly in place.

First, spread the tile adhesive over the desired surface. Then place the tiles in position and insert the tile crosses at the intersections of the tile corners. After the tiles have set, remove the crosses using a pointed object and complete the grouting process.
